Once Upon A Decade by Clark Zlotchew |
This compact book contains a uniquely male and Latin perspective
on the fifties decade.
I enjoyed how the author told a story and then later in the
book re-told the story from another character's view. It felt as if the author were checking to see
if I was paying attention.
There are a few stories that include uncomfortable subject
matter and here and there my attention wavered, but overall an interesting book
that subtly intertwines glimpses of Latin and American history.
